THE CHAINS SELECTION

When I was working on my FW19 collection, I was very inspired by military attire, but I wanted to make it delicate and elegant.

While designing the Alice jacket, I felt it was the perfect piece to try it on. I really really liked the result and I implemented it on several pieces.  

My search for those chains wasn't easy, certainly for those really fine ones I had in mind. I wanted the best quality, and that was only going to be possible if they were handsewn with the finest needles. I found a manufacturer in India, with whom I had been in contact with earlier in my career. I knew their work was amazing, because they worked with other well-known designers.

As soon as I received the first samples at the office I was convinced. Throughout the seasons, the chains really have become a signature feature for SDSH. From our very first Alice Jacket, to our bestseller dress Mark Chains, our various jeans jackets, or the one and only Ian hoodie. You have proven to love all these pieces, and it makes my heart happy ✨
