THE BUTTONS SELECTION
As far as I can remember, I've been collecting buttons. All shapes and sizes. I like their historical and military aspect, all while being ornamental. They are functional, yet practical. I love them so much that they were already featured in my final collection during my studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp back in 2002.
A row of buttons has something so chic, that I found it elevated my pieces just the way I wanted it. Like the chains, it has become a signature feature for SDSH. I have declined them into press studs for a more contemporary look, and it works so well.
The symbolism attached to it of buttons being sensual, because you can open them completely or just a little fits SDSH so well, that I will continue to add them. May it be in the front, or on the shoulders, maybe even on the back one day ✨
They are now fully part of the SDSH'S DNA!
Extravagant, modern but also a sensual invitation to undress 🖤
